عادت طائرة تابعة للخطوط الجوية الليبية، الإثنين، إلى مطار امعيتيقة الدولي بطرابلس، بعد إقلاعها في رحلة كانت متجهة لإسطنبول.
وحسبما أعلنت إدارة مطار امعيتيقة، فقد تبيّن أن أحد إطارات الطائرة يحتاج لصيانة إثر عطل مفاجئ،؛ لذا مُنِح الإذن للطائرة بالعودة، وذلك عقب أن أفرغت خزاناتها من الوقود تحسّبًا لأي طارئ، ولمساعدتها في الهبوط بسلام.
وأفادت إدارة المطار بعدها بساعات، بأن الطائرة استأنفت رحلتها إلى مطار إسطنبول، بعد إجراء الصيانة اللازمة لها.
